TECHNOLOGY

Vast Technology Corp. has just announced the world’s highest capacity storage drive ever created, the Infini 128 Terabyte (TB) Drive. It is the World’s first Solid State Flash Array Drive (SSFAD), and makes it the undisputed highest storage capacity drive in existence.

We have also developed the world’s first SSFAD (Solid State Flash Array Drive), which is beyond cutting edge. This advanced memory technology is Revolutionary, Long Lasting, Easily Scalable, Replaceable and Upgradeable.

First revealed in March of 2016, the Vast Infini SSFAD currently comes in 5 different capacity sizes: 16TB, 25TB, 32TB, 64TB and 128TB (for high end enterprise users). The drives have 3 types of interface options: 12Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) interface, 600Gb/s SATA3 Interface for use in enterprise storage systems. Our external Infini unit comes with 600Gb/s USB3.0/3.1. The Vast Infini SSFAD Unit comes in a 3.5-inch form factor, and weighs only 1.5 pounds. This allows enterprise storage managers to fit up to 60 Drives into a standard 19-inch, 4U rack, weighing only 75 lbs. Compare this to an equivalent 3.5-inch storage HDD 4U unit with 60 Drives weighing over 450 pounds.

We know there is an increasing market need for super-efficient ultra-high-storage capacity devices, not just for enterprise users but for all consumers. Both the SSD’s and HDD’s have many flaws which the large memory industry manufactures continually fail to address. We will continue to lead the industry with next-generation SSFADs, using our advanced patented Flash Array Memory Technology. This technology is scalable and interoperable to integrate with today’s Nand Flash SD cards as well as next generation SD cards using 3D V-NAND. Vast is paving the way for a new era in the memory industry, as a result Vast has leapfrogged by light years ahead of all Storage Industry Manufacturers, and it will drive the growth of the premium memory market. This will deliver the highest performance and most power and space efficient storage drives ever created.

CURRENT HDD & SSD FLAWS:

  • Power consumption costs (Power Consumption per HDD is 6-15W and per SSD is 4-5W)
  • Failure rate costs (Cumulative 5 yrs failure rate for HDD is 21% avg. and for SSD’s its 7% avg.)
  • Data Storage footprint infrastructure build-out costs (average datacenter today is over 200,000 sq ft at an average cost of $3000/sq ft to build out)
  • Heating and ventilation costs (extremely expensive throughout the industry)
  • Upgrading and replacement costs (complete overhauls or upgrades of server & storage drives are needed, which happens every 3-5 years)
  • Storage Management Employee Costs (the larger the space required, with more cabinets and more servers, the more employees are needed for maintenance and support)
  • Timeline Required to Expand or Build Additional Data Centers is Tremendous and is Relative to the Amount of Funds required, (the larger the space the more time and money is required to build it out).

VAST’S SOLUTION

Vast Technology International has not only addressed all these flaws, but also surpasses all expectations by including features that make Vast’s Patented Advanced Memory Technology unique and a game changer that will revolutionize the Computer & Data Storage Industry.

VAST CORPORATION ADVANCING TECHNOLOGY

THE FUTURE IS HERE

Soon, it is expected that Vast Drive units will be able to triple in capacity, potentially representing a 30-fold improvement in capacity over spinning hard disks – and this is without any improvements to Vast Corporation 3.5” current form factor design size.

TECHNOLOGY

The largest USB 3.0 thumb drive available to the general public is currently 1 TB, Vast SSFAD USB device supports up to 16 TB and can be easily configured with our patented Raid within a Raid making it not only larger than anything else available but also faster and more secure.

The human brain uses dendrites and receptors to function on a microscopic level to process thoughts, ideas and emotions. We at Vast Technology Corp have taken that concept and applied it in our patented advanced memory technology process to make read/write scalable to over SAS 12Gb/s speeds as well as making read/write virtually unlimited in such a manner that energy use is reduced and data is placed in ways that better protect it.

Like the brain, if an area is damaged, we simply rapidly rewire via code and later replace the minute section or card chip. Other systems cannot do this.

VAST’S INIFI SSFAD

The Vast Infini SSFAD (see below) when turned on, actually has a heartbeat, with live LED indicators. These will work in conjunction with our proprietary SSFAD management software to monitor the overall health of the unit. The indicators alert the user for possible failures, damages or corrupted Nand-Flash chip cards for removal or replacement.

VAST’S CURRENT STORAGE CAPACITY DEVICES

The Vast Stick SSFAD (Solid State Flash Array Drive) USB Drive models come with 256Gb, 512GB, 1TB, 2TB or 4TB and all are expandable to 16 Terabytes

The largest SSD drive today is 15TB, Vast SSFA Drives use patented Advanced Memory Technology combined with Nand-Flash and V-Nand Flash technology all designed to fit in a 3.5” form factor size, and give us a mind blowing capacity of 128TB. In fact in the early quarter of 2017 Vast will be announcing it’s new 512 Terabyte SSFA Drive which is also currently in development.

The Internal Infini SSFAD (Solid State Flash Array Drive) models come with 2TB, 4TB, 8TB, 16TB, 25TB or 32TB, and all are expandable to 128 Terabytes

The External Infini SSFAD (Solid State Flash Array Drive) models come with 2TB, 4TB, 8TB, 16TB, 25TB or 32TB, and all are expandable to 128 Terabytes
